The Siemens Open-air GCA Series Electronic Direct Coupled Damper Actuator is designed for controlling building H-Vac dampers and equipment with damper control. It is a rotary action, spring return, 160 lb.-in (18 Nm), 24-Vac or 24-Vdc powered actuator with floating control input signal, 90 second run time, typical 15 second spring return time and is Pre-cabled with plenum cables. The self-centering shaft connection allows the fastest installation/connection to the equipment shaft on the market today. To customers this means the actuators do not slip off the damper shaft and no call backs to job sites. This actuator also includes built-in dual adjustable auxiliary switches which are used to indicate position of the damper, i.e. open or closed. These products are also very energy efficient and consume a very low level of power. The published torque (power) of 160 lb.-in is guaranteed to be provided for the life of the product over rated temperature and voltage conditions. This actuator is used in a variety of H-Vac applications such as constant or variable air volume installations for controlling economizer dampers, return air, mixed air, exhaust and face and bypass dampers. These products are assembled in the USA and are UL and cUL listed and CE Marked.
